Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Project Director, Commercial Nuclear Services for a remote role based out of Oak Ridge, TN. You will lead all aspects of nuclear projects, develop WBS, manage budget, schedule, subcontracting and risk.

You will assemble and lead multi-disciplinary teams, drive safety culture, ensure compliance with contracts and corporate standards, and report progress to senior management and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 15 years commercial nuclear experience.
• Minimum of 10 years project management experience.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience leading teams.
• Experience working in a live Nuclear environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex EPC projects with subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of one or more nuclear and fuel cycle projects within assigned scope.
• Develop work execution plans, WBS, budgets, schedules, and staffing plans.
• Oversee risk management, quality, safety programs, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Recruit and develop project teams, coordinate with functional managers, and manage subcontracts and suppliers.
• Monitor project health using KPIs and rigorous reporting to clients and senior management.
• Ensure adherence to safety culture and corporate standards.
