Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks an Operations Manager, Commercial Nuclear – Remote, based out of Oak Ridge, TN. You will lead operations, maintenance, training, and security activities for nuclear projects and supervise senior professionals across ARUSN.

The role requires a US citizen, a strong engineering background, and 15+ years of related experience. Experience with RadCon, NRC-regulated training programs, and OV/RO licensing is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• 15 years of experience; typical 20–25 years.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Expert knowledge in operations and maintenance of commercial nuclear facilities.
• Extensive knowledge of RadCon requirements and practices for nuclear facilities.
• Experience developing training programs for NRC-regulated environments.
• U.S. citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees operations, maintenance, training, and security activities within ARUSN for nuclear projects.
• Leads operations engineering team; informs design configurations with operability insights.
• Represents technical work to clients, regulators, and others; participates in QA reviews.
