AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Operations Manager for Commercial Nuclear—Remote, based in Oak Ridge, TN. You will oversee the ARUSN operations engineering team to design, operate, maintain, and license nuclear assets, delivering operability insights that improve reliability and cost efficiency.

You will drive staffing, regulatory engagement, and QA processes, ensuring adherence to RadCon and NRC requirements while guiding strategic execution across legacy and new build projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering required.
• 15 years of experience typical; 20–25 years common.
• Strong communication in a multi‑tiered environment; goal alignment among diverse interests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct ARUSN work activities supporting design, engineering and licensing for operations and maintenance of nuclear facilities.
• Lead the operations engineering team and advise on operability insights to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.
• Represent and defend the company's technical work to clients, regulators and others; participate in QA reviews and staffing planning.
