Job summary

Orbital is seeking a Project Coordinator for a remote role to support execution of utility engineering and construction projects. You will assist with notifications, work orders, invoicing, and financial reporting, while transmitting deliverables to clients and collaborating with multiple departments.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities, plus experience with project management software like Deltek Vantagepoint.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with project start-up or close-out activities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to project team members.
• Coordinate project files, vendor communications, invoicing, and purchase orders.
• Support project life cycle activities and project management software usage.
• Utilize internal software for engineering design workflow tasks.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure deadlines and constraints are met.
• Assist with internal and external reporting of project status KPIs.
