Job summary

The Office of the New York State Comptroller in Albany seeks a Project Coordinator to direct or participate in initiatives that improve agency operations. You will analyze current business processes, coordinate with stakeholders, and guide projects through planning, design, development, and quality assurance under CIO standards.

Qualifications

• The incumbent must have at least nine (9) years of general experience in Computer Programming, Systems Analysis and Application program development activities with demonstrated experience in JavaScript AND Two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct or participate on projects which seek to improve or establish new agency or enterprise operations; analyze current business processes; coordinate with stakeholders; develop and implement changes; assist with all phases of the project lifecycle.
• The Project Coordinator will supervise a newly established team maintaining, upgrading and/or replacing custom e-contracting applications.
