NV5 is seeking a full-time Project Archaeologist for their Cary, NC office, with the possibility of remote work from NC/SC. The position involves conducting archaeological assessments, managing projects, and ensuring effective communication with clients. Candidates must have professional archaeological experience in NC and a Master's degree in a related field. Qualifications

• Current standing member of the Register of Professional Archaeologists (RPA) or qualified under CFR Part 61.
• Experience as an archaeological field director or project manager a plus.
• Experience in Southeast U.S. is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Conduct Section 106 assessments including surveys and resource identification.
• Complete report writing and consultation support.
• Manage project performance and communicate effectively.

Professional archaeological experience in NC

Microsoft Office

ArcGIS software

GPS equipment utilization

Formation

Master's degree in anthropology, archaeology, or related field
