Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Project Accountant for a fully remote role based in the United States. You will review client contracts, set up projects in the accounting system, manage the full invoicing cycle, and support subconsultant billing.

You will analyze work-in-process, assist with audits, and collaborate with project managers to ensure billing aligns with progress. Strong Excel and Deltek experience are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years project billing experience in large engineering/architectural firms.
• Experience invoicing for multi-million dollar projects.
• Experience managing change orders and project billing.
• Collaboration with project managers to track milestones and deadlines.
• Strong detail orientation and documentation management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end invoicing and billing for engineering/architectural projects.
• Review contracts and set up projects in the accounting system.
• Process subconsultant invoices and change orders.
• Analyze work-in-process and accounts receivable for trends.
• Support audits with documentation and explanations.
