Job summary

Gear Partners is hiring a Project Manager to lead enterprise IT implementation projects for external clients. The role demands coordinating with clients, Sales, Solution Consultants, Architects and Engineers to deliver solutions while managing expectations and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

A typical day includes planning, scheduling, risk management, budget oversight, and leading cross-functional teams to meet milestones. Remote-friendly with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of enterprise IT implementation project experience for external clients.
• Experience managing projects of 6+ months and budgets up to $1M.
• Familiar with PMBOK-based practices: Schedule, Risk, Scope, WBS.
• Proficient with scheduling tools such as Clarizen, Clarity, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects for a single client or multiple clients.
• Lead project planning, schedule, critical path, and status reporting.
• Build cross-functional teams and drive milestones and responsibilities.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, and project budget.
• Collaborate with client, project team, and extended Gear Partners team.
