Job summary

Tailscale is seeking a talented and motivated full-time Program Manager to join our team. This tactical role shapes how EPD operates, builds processes, and drives improvements across engineering, product and design in a remote-first company.

You'll own operational health processes, create dashboards in Jira and Snowflake, and translate data into actionable changes. You’ll collaborate asynchronously with highly technical teams and help drive planning and reviews across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Program Manager or TPM coordinating with engineering and product.
• Proven remote-startup experience and ability to work independently.
• Strong data interpretation and ability to build dashboards.
• Familiar with Jira, Notion, GitHub and Snowflake for managing work.

Responsibilities

• Own processes for bug tracking, incidents, reliability and escalations.
• Identify trends in operational health data and distill insights.
• Build dashboards and reports in Jira and Snowflake for visibility.
• Turn data into a clear story and drive process changes.
• Support planning cycles and project tracking across EPD.
• Lead reviews and governance discussions with leadership.
