Job summary

Pearl is seeking a hands-on program manager to orchestrate multiple cross‑functional initiatives. You will develop detailed project plans with engineering, product, marketing, and operations, translate priorities into execution, and keep a portfolio moving from initiation to close.

You’ll own day-to-day execution, manage risks, blockers, and status reporting, and leverage Notion to maintain documentation. The role is 100% remote in the U.S., with a flexible startup culture that values candor,

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of project or program management experience
• Experience at a startup or small company
• Strong command of core PM fundamentals: work breakdown, dependency mapping, estimation, risk management, and status communication
• Excellent facilitation skills: run planning sessions with cross-functional teams
• High follow-through and attention to detail; you close loops without reminders
• Comfort with ambiguity and iterative planning
• Clear, concise written communication in a remote-first environment
• Proficiency with Notion, AI tools, and automation capabilities for program management

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans for multiple concurrent projects and programs
• Facilitate planning sessions with cross-functional teams to break initiatives into tasks, estimates, dependencies, and owners
• Run day-to-day project execution: standups or check-ins, status tracking, risk and issue logs, and action-item follow-through
• Administrate communication and project plans via Pearl’s Notion instance
• Identify blockers early and drive them to resolution with recommendations
• Keep project documentation, trackers, and status reporting accurate and useful
• Coordinate handoffs and dependencies across departments
• Partner with Product and Operations to build lightweight project management practices
• Support program-level rollups for leadership portfolio health
