Job summary

Stepful is seeking a Program Director for Surgical Services to oversee Surgical Technology and Sterile Processing programs, including curriculum, labs, clinics, and partnerships with healthcare employers across multiple states.

The role emphasizes student outcomes, program quality, and scalable operations, with travel to partner sites. You’ll lead instructors, collaborate with enterprise teams, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic EdTech healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience teaching surgical technology, including course delivery, assessment, and student support.
• Active NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist or NCCT TS-C certification.
• 5+ years of clinical or operational experience in surgical technology, sterile processing, or related surgical services field.
• 2+ years of healthcare education, training program administration, or a clinical operations role with instructional oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Surgical Technology and Sterile Processing programs across online, in-person, and clinical components.
• Safeguard NCCT program approval and state regulatory standing by maintaining outcome thresholds.
• Lead instructor team, hire and onboard staff and adjuncts, and ensure instructional excellence.
• Manage relationships with enterprise healthcare partners across multiple states and coordinate site visits.
