Job summary

The Battery Network is a mission-driven nonprofit seeking a Program Coordinator to manage battery stewardship programs across the U.S. The role focuses on delivering compliant collection and recycling services while supporting 1–3 state programs and nurturing retailer partnerships.

You will handle onboarding, customer success, and data-driven performance analysis, traveling up to 50% regionally and working remotely from Washington state.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in program coordination, customer service, inside sales, account support, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year in related roles.
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States for The Battery Network.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the program ambassador and first-level contact for customers (collection sites).
• Onboard customers by guiding them through onboarding with a mix of personal touches and automation.
• Manage a high-volume workflow from multiple sources (phone, email, website) accurately and timely.
• Maintain regular outreach to support customer satisfaction and meet KPIs.
• Collaborate with leadership and teams to optimize the account relationship and program performance.
• Maintain complete customer records and generate data-driven dashboards and reports.
