Job summary

Battery Recyclers of America, a Texas-based company focused on safe and compliant battery recycling logistics, seeks a remote-enabled operations lead. You will manage shipments end-to-end, advise on packaging and labeling per DOT/EPA rules, and coordinate carriers and vendors to ensure timely, compliant deliveries.

This role emphasizes hands-on compliance advisory work and real-time problem solving as the shipments move from origin to recyclers across the country.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of logistics coordination experience.
• Familiarity with hazmat shipping requirements and related documentation.
• Experience coordinating with carriers, vendors, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on compliant packaging, marking, labeling, and shipping papers for various battery chemistries.
• Plan and route third-party LTL and FTL shipments nationwide; select and manage carriers.
• Coordinate specialized freight such as rigging, cranes, and custom packaging for oversized or sensitive shipments.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation—bills of lading, hazmat papers, manifests as applicable.
• Keep shipment details, milestones, and customer communication current in Salesforce.
• Maintain proactive customer, carrier, and recycler communications to prevent issues.
• Help refine SOPs as regulations and business evolve.
