Job summary

American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) seeks a Technical Program Manager for the Battery Recycling Team. You will own and drive multi-disciplinary projects from concept through construction and commissioning on a commercial scale, coordinating R&D, engineering, procurement, and operations.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage scope, budgets, and schedules across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable recycling technologies and facilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with demonstrated ability in chemical refining or recycling projects.
• 2-5 years in early development, pilot testing, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of chemical systems.
• Experience with organics treatment, leaching, filtration, evaporation, extraction, or related processes.
• Strong project management, cost control, scheduling and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead scope definition and plan across facility and processing equipment.
• Drive projects from concept to commissioning of manufacturing facilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage budgets and schedules.
• Present progress to leadership and align with R&D, manufacturing, procurement, and construction.
• Guide external integrators and internal teams to deliver $1-5MM+ projects.
