Job summary

Battery Recyclers of America is seeking a logistics professional to own end-to-end battery shipments. You will advise on packaging and labeling, route carriers, and manage vendors for lithium-ion, lead-acid, and other batteries, ensuring compliance with DOT and EPA rules.

The role is full-time and remote (Texas-based ideal), with a compensation range of $55,000–$65,000 plus annual bonus. Strong hazmat knowledge and Salesforce experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of logistics coordination experience, including LTL/FTL planning and routing.
• Experience with specialized freight (rigging, cranes, custom packaging).
• 2+ years of Salesforce experience.
• Familiarity with 49 CFR lithium battery shipping rules and hazmat paperwork.
• Current DOT hazmat training certification.
• Experience shipping lithium batteries for recycling or reverse logistics.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on compliant packaging, marking, labeling, and shipping papers for various battery chemistries.
• Plan and route nationwide shipments; select and manage carriers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate specialized vendors for oversized or sensitive shipments.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation such as bills of lading and hazmat papers.
• Keep all shipment details and customer communication current in Salesforce.
