GovAct is seeking a savvy, well‑organized Program Associate to support the Governors Public Health Alliance (PHA). You will help manage daily operations, meetings, communications, and special projects, ensuring efficient execution in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven setting.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in nonprofits, government, law, policy, communications, public relations or related field is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to handle confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative and operational support to PHA staff.
• Coordinate meetings, calendars, travel, and reimbursements.
• Draft agendas, memos, summaries, and materials for internal and external audiences.
• Prepare weekly communications and newsletters in coordination with the strategy team.
• Assist with database management, events, and project coordination.
