GovAct’s Governors Public Health Alliance seeks a savvy Program Associate to provide administrative, operational, and project support. You will help manage day-to-day operations, meetings, communications, and special projects to ensure the alliance’s work is efficient and accurate.

This remote role offers potential hybrid work in Washington, D.C. or the San Francisco Bay Area, with some travel. Ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in nonprofits, government, law, policy, communications, public relations, or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in public health, government, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative support, calendars, and travel arrangements.
• Prepare for meetings, gather documents, take notes, and support logistics.
• Draft communications and weekly newsletters; manage emails.
• Support project management and event logistics.
