Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing Specialist to conduct professional fee coding audits across medical records, applying ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers. You will explain changes with solid documentation references and stay current with regulatory updates.

This fully remote role offers a flexible schedule, with preferred 20 hours per week. Ideal candidates have multi-specialty experience, CPC certification, and a track record of high accuracy in audits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing.
• CPC (required).
• CPMA (preferred).
• Maintain 95% accuracy rate.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, and other prevalent EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional fee coding audits of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers.
• Provides rationale for changes with documentation references.
• Keeps abreast of regulatory changes.
• Manages multiple cases concurrently to ensure workflow and resolution.
• Provides coder education through auditing process.
