Managed Resources, Inc. is seeking a Professional Fee Coding Auditor to audit CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and modifiers based on medical records. This remote, full-time role focuses on accurate documentation and coding in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• CPC credential required.
• 5–7 years auditing CPT, E/M, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM codes.
• Advanced knowledge of surgical and medical specialties.
• Extensive medical terminology knowledge.
• Experience researching coding rules and applying regulations.
• Experience with audit software tools.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and EMR systems (EPIC).
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Positive, respectful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Audit all E/M, CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, and units from medical records.
• Enter audit data into audit software or reports.
• Evaluate physician documentation quality for quality improvement.
• Code accurately using guidelines and client protocols.
• Communicate with clients/providers for clarifications.
• Provide written feedback with chart-level comments and recommendations.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on scheduling and workload.
• Track time accurately in timekeeping system.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to health information laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
