Job summary

CorroHealth is seeking a Coding Specialist to join the team and provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across multiple specialties. The role supports hospitalists, nephrology, and bedside procedures, with a focus on accurate, compliant coding from a home office.

Candidates must hold an AAPC or AHIMA credential and have at least six months of coding experience. The position emphasizes high accuracy, privacy compliance, and ongoing professional development in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P).
• Minimum 6 months of on-the-job coding experience.
• Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is required.
• Must have working knowledge of EMR and billing systems; access to CPT and ICD-10-CM references.

Responsibilities

• Work from home and independently perform coding tasks.
• Provide various components of coding services to support clients.
• Calculate ProFee IP and OBS E/M levels using company-developed algorithm.
• Experience coding for hospitalists, nephrology and bedside procedures, split shared services, inpatient tests and FS modifiers.
• Identify critical care cases by patient acuity and apply ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes with high specificity.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, security rules and the Company’s Code of Ethics.
