Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. seeks a ProFee Inpatient Coding Specialist to provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for hospital-based services across multiple specialties.

The role includes inpatient procedures, ER and bedside coding when appropriate, ensuring accurate reimbursement. This remote, full-time position requires AHIMA or AAPC certification, at least 2 years of on-the-job coding experience, and proficiency with EMR systems such as 3M Encompass or 3M encoder.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC or AHIMA.
• Minimum 2 years of coding experience.
• Proficient with EMR and billing systems; strong internet connection.
• Meet 95% productivity and 95% quality targets.

Responsibilities

• Code CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM for inpatient/professional fees.
• Code hospitalist, nephrology and bedside procedures as needed.
• Apply codes with guidance from AHIMA/AAPC standards and documentation.
• Interpret guidelines and maintain privacy and ethics compliance.
