Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing Specialist to support coding quality, compliance assessments, and external payer reviews. This role is fully remote with a flexible schedule, ideal for someone who can work around US business hours and contribute from their own workspace.

You will audit professional fee coding using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers, provide detailed rationale, stay current on regulatory changes, and educate coders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional fee coding or auditing.
• Maintain 95% accuracy in coding/auditing outputs.
• Experience with coding references and AHIMA/industry ethics.

Responsibilities

• Performs Professional Fee coding audits of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers.
• Provides concise rationale with references and documentation locations.
• Keeps abreast of regulatory changes.
• Organizes multiple cases to ensure workflow and resolution.
• Provides coder education through auditing processes.
• Maintains professional, efficient, positive conduct.
• Adheres to AHIMA's code of ethics.
• Demonstrates customer-service focus and reliability.
• Exhibits high complexity in decision making and leadership.
