Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing Specialist to drive coding quality, compliance assessments, payer reviews, and coding education. This fully remote role with a flexible schedule lets you shape healthcare insights from your own workspace.

Ideal candidates have CPC, 5+ years of professional fee coding or auditing, and hands-on experience with Epic or Cerner EMRs. Availability around 20 hours per week is preferred. We offer competitive benefits and ongoing credentialing support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing.
• Maintain 95% accuracy rate.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, and other prevalent EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Performs Professional Fee coding audits of medical records and abstracts using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers.
• Provides rationale explaining changes with references and documentation locations.
• Keeps abreast of regulatory changes.
• Organizes and prioritizes multiple cases concurrently.
