Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing Specialist to conduct professional fee coding audits, educate teams, and support coding workflow improvements. This fully remote role offers a flexible schedule and 20 hours per week, with prior experience in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and AHIMA ethics guiding the work.

Candidates familiar with Epic or Cerner are preferred. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory awareness, and strong organizational skills to handle multiple cases while maintaining professional

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing.
• CPC certification is required; CPMA preferred.
• Maintain 95% accuracy rate across audits.
• Experience with EMR systems like Epic or Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional fee coding audits of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers.
• Provide clear, concise rationale with references and documentation locations.
• Stay updated on regulatory coding changes.
• Manage multiple cases concurrently to sustain workflow.
• Educate coders through the auditing process.
