Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing Specialist to perform professional fee coding audits across medical records, providing clear rationale and documentation references. The role supports payer reviews, coding education and workflow optimization in a fully remote, flexible schedule environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of professional fee coding/auditing, CPC certification, and experience with Epic and Cerner EMRs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing.
• CPC is required.
• CPMA is preferred.
• Maintain 95% accuracy rate.
• Experience with EMRs such as Epic and Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional fee coding audits of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers.
• Provides concise rationale with references and documentation locations.
• Keeps abreast of regulatory changes.
• Organizes and prioritizes multiple cases to ensure workflow.
• Educates coders through the auditing process.
• Maintains professional, efficient and positive conduct.
• Adheres to AHIMA's code of ethics.
• Demonstrates customer-service focus and professionalism.
