Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing Specialist to perform professional fee coding audits across medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS, with clear rationale and proper documentation. The role is fully remote with flexible scheduling and focuses on coding quality and education.

Requirements include 5+ years of professional fee coding/auditing, CPC certification, and experience with Epic or Cerner EMRs; CPMA preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing experience.
• CPC certification is required; CPMA is preferred.
• Maintain 95% accuracy rate in coding audits.
• Experience with Epic and Cerner EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional fee coding audits of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers.
• Provides rationale with references and documentation locations for changes.
• Keeps abreast of regulatory changes relevant to coding.
• Organizes and prioritizes multiple cases to meet workflow demands.
• Educates coders through the auditing process.
• Adhere to AHIMA's code of ethics.
