Datavant, a healthcare data collaboration platform, seeks a Profee Auditing Specialist for a fully remote, flexible schedule. The role focuses on coding quality, compliance assessments, external payer reviews, and coding education, with an emphasis on delivering tailored insights to customers.

You will perform audits of professional fee coding using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers, providing concise rationale and ongoing education while staying up to date with regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing.
• CPC certification is required.
• CPMA certification is preferred.
• Maintain at least a 95% accuracy rate.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, and other prevalent EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional fee coding audits of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers.
• Provides rationale with references and documentation locations for identified changes.
• Keeps abreast of regulatory changes to coding guidelines.
• Organizes and prioritizes multiple cases to ensure workflow and timely resolution.
• Educates coders through the auditing process and maintains professional standards.
