Qualifications

• Three or more years of coding experience.

• Experience working in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams)

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes for various accounts and abstract key data for billing.
• Review medical records for clinical pertinence and clarify documentation with providers for accurate coding.
• Resolve claim edits related to ED encounters and outpatient visits as needed.
