Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive commercial lines underwriting experience in package lines and/or worker’s compensation.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant underwriting experience may substitute.
• Demonstrated knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting, pricing and coverage.

Responsibilities

• Represent Encova Insurance as agency manager for assigned agents in commercial lines.
• Develop and maintain agency relationships through visits and communication.
• Identify, price, and write profitable new business and renewals.
• Manage risk analysis and pricing using underwriting guidelines and industry rules.
