Cohere is seeking a Product & Technology Communications Manager in the United States to shape how we tell our AI, enterprise software, and developer-focused story. You will partner with product, research, engineering, and GTM teams to translate complex tech into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in product and technology communications, or technical content in AI, enterprise software, or developer-focused environments.
• Exceptional writer with ability to simplify complex topics without losing nuance.
• Experience partnering with product and engineering leaders and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Understand enterprise AI, ML, or developer ecosystems and want to go deeper.
• Strong organizational skills and bias for action.

Responsibilities

• Develop product and technology communications strategies that support Cohere’s goals and differentiators.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, research, and modeling leaders to craft messaging and materials.
• Lead communications around product launches, including messaging frameworks and executive talking points.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear content for customers, partners, analysts and media.
• Coordinate with corporate communications to elevate Cohere’s leadership and momentum.
• Work with marketing to ensure consistency across product marketing and external communications.
• Support thought leadership for product, research, and modeling executives.
• Use qualitative and quantitative insights to refine messaging for technical audiences.
• Prepare and support crisis communications related to product, security, or incidents.
