Job summary

Komatsu seeks a Product Support Manager for Electric Drive Trucks in the US West region, currently in a remote position. You will drive distributor and customer success by resolving mining product issues, providing technical support for installations, and leading warranty processes.

You will coordinate field activities, mentor distributors, and report on machine performance, leveraging JoiFUL for continuous improvement and ensuring delivery terms are met.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training related to repair and service of heavy equipment.
• Technical classes on the Komatsu electric drive truck mining product line.
• Experience: 5 years’ industry experience in the repair and service of heavy equipment.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and troubleshooting software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical and service problems on Komatsu surface mining hydraulic shovel equipment; advise customers on maintenance best practices.
• Review and adjudicate warranty claims for Komatsu surface mining equipment.
• Prepare reports, presentations, charts, and documents on machine performance.
• Coordinate project start-up and delivery of machines; manage assembly and commissioning.
• Train servicing agents and manage contract performance to meet commitments.
