Komatsu is hiring Electric Drive Truck (EDT) Technicians for the Morenci Mine Site in Arizona. These onsite roles require relocation and support day/night shifts on a long-change schedule.

Candidates should have mine-site experience, strong electrical/mechanical fundamentals, and willingness to travel to support uptime. Relocation bonus is available, and the position involves working at a key Komatsu site with a focus on high-precision repairs and safe operations.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience maintaining mining equipment (Electric Drive Trucks preferred).
• Ability to read prints and complete repairs to OEM specifications.
• Willing to travel 100% for business needs.
• Resides in the Valley area.
• Strong troubleshooting in hydraulics, low voltage electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship or 1 year technical college is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Flexible work schedule.

We are hiring Electric Drive Truck (EDT) Technicians at the Morenci Mine Site in Arizona, primarily working on Komatsu electric drive haul trucks. These roles are critical to supporting mine production and uptime.

This is an onsite, rotatingschedule role ideal for technicians with mine site experience, strong electrical or mechanical fundamentals, and flexibility to work day and night shifts (longchange schedule).

This job requires relocating to the Safford/Morenci area. A relocation bonus is available.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Perform complex, high accuracy repairs and determine appropriate repair methods.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and complete all levels of equipment repairs.

• Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulics, low voltage electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and formulas.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments.
• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship or 1 year technical college program is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Flexible work schedule.
