Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of related work experience with typically 5+ years in personal lines P&C.
• Experience in state product management roles or related functions (pricing, product strategy, data science).
• Deep understanding of state insurance regulatory landscape and market, including rate, rules and forms.
• Excellent understanding of insurance products.
• Outstanding analytical and processing skills with ability to see the big picture and make solid recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate clearly to a wide variety of partners.

Responsibilities

• Researches and stays current on local regulatory conditions.
• Presents findings to leadership and advises on approaches to market changes and legislative changes.
• Identifies emerging trends and analyzes data to present findings to leadership.
• Performs sophisticated analysis and translates findings into process changes or strategy.
• Provides interpretation on proposals and guides outcomes as a business consultant to internal partners.
• Collaborates across the organization and mentors less experienced team members.
• Prepares policy language with minimal legal assistance and maintains rule manuals.
