Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group in the United States seeks a Product Strategy Advisor for Personal Lines in a remote capacity. You will act as a strategic consultant, researching local regulatory conditions and advising leadership on market changes and legislative responses.

You will lead cross-functional projects, support product implementation as the SME for the local market, and present data-driven recommendations to influence strategy and operations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of related work experience (5+ years in personal lines P&C).
• Experience in state product management or related functions (pricing, product strategy and development, data science).
• Deep understanding of state insurance regulatory landscape and market, including rate, rules and forms.
• Excellent understanding of insurance products.
• Outstanding analytical and processing skills with ability to see the big picture and make solid recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate clearly to a wide variety of partners.
• Ability to lead through influence and drive work forward.
• Ability to conduct meetings and deliver formal presentations.
• Organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Expert knowledge of insurance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Researches and stays current on local regulatory conditions.
• Present analyses to management and advise on market changes and responses to legislative changes.
• Identify emerging trends and issues in the assigned territory and present findings to leadership.
• Perform analyses of assigned function or business area and translate findings into applications such as process changes or strategy advising.
• Provide interpretation and insight on proposals; guide outcomes as a business consultant to internal partners.
• Collaborate across the organization with colleagues at all levels.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management (up to VP level).
• Support new product implementation as SME in the local market.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional projects (system defects, discounts, forms, contracting changes).
• Mentor and train less experienced team members.
• Craft sophisticated policy language with minimal Legal assistance.
