Job summary

c3controls is remote-friendly with on-site requirements in Beaver, PA, seeking a detail-oriented Product Specialist to back the Product Management team. You will compile data, manage BOM updates, maintain catalogs, and assist with hands-on product reviews and prototype testing.

In this entry-level role, you will help with technical support, training material, and cross-functional documentation while learning c3controls product lines and electrical standards.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred or 1–3 years in technical support, technical writing, QA or product marketing.
• Hands-on aptitude with hardware, electro-mechanical components and prototypes.
• Detail-driven execution with precise data entry (BOM updates, database cleanups).
• Proficient in workbook tools for analyzing portfolio health and pricing datasets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train others.
• Technical writing: produce catalogs, installation sheets and briefs.
• Curiosity to learn product lines and electrical standards over time.
• Location: primarily remote with on-site Beaver, PA 2–3 times per month.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support, quality & application assistance for daily product issues.
• Analyze product performance data; document findings and drive cross-functional resolution.
• Prepare training materials and deliver foundational product training over time.
• Conduct physical product reviews and assist with prototype assembly and testing.
• Collect, format data into Excel spreadsheets for PM review.
• Update BOM records and product specifications in core databases.
• Audit product specs across partner sites and internal systems.
• Update product catalogs, tech sheets and installation instructions.
• Draft internal bulletins and track changes with engineering, operations and finance.
• Support in market research for new product development and competitor pricing.
