Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a lab environment or technician role in regulated settings.
• Ability to follow procedures and work with a team.
• Bachelor's degree preferred with 1 year lab/R&D experience.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
• Produces engineering documents, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams and schematics).
• Prepares reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis.
• Provides completion of technical tasks.
• Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
• Helps scope equipment for use and complete qualifications.
• Works with team on general lab functions, including calibration, implementation of safety procedures, and routine equipment maintenance.
• Notifies manager or team lead upon recognition of factors that may affect project.
• Helps develop prototype processes and test set-ups.
• Executes designed test protocol and conducts testing.
• Effectively documents and communicates test results.
• Handles test samples and chemicals used for conditioning and testing.
