Job summary

United Data Technologies, Inc. seeks a Product Owner to maximize product value by managing the backlog and translating business needs into actionable requirements.

You will bridge stakeholders and the technical team, drive sprint execution, and ensure the product aligns with business goals and end-user needs. Responsibilities include prioritizing backlog, refining items for sprint planning, and collaborating with the Scrum Master and development team to deliver high-quality features on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Product Owner, BA, or related Agile role.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies with backlog management.
• Translate business needs into detailed product requirements and user stories.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience with SaaS/ERP or market-facing COTS is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand and align product vision with leadership and goals.
• Maintain a clear product roadmap and prioritize backlog based on business value.
• Gather requirements and define functional/non-functional needs.
• Document user stories and acceptance criteria with clarity.
• Own backlog, refine items for sprint planning, and coordinate with the team.
• Collaborate with Scrum Master and developers to plan sprints and deliver releases.
• Communicate release timelines and key changes to stakeholders.
• Represent customer voice by incorporating feedback into decisions.
