Job summary

United Data Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Product Owner to maximize product value by prioritizing the backlog, translating business needs into actionable requirements, and guiding sprint execution.

You will bridge business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring alignment with goals and end-user needs. You will work with leadership to maintain a roadmap, collaborate across disciplines, and use Jira to track epics, stories, and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in Product Owner/Business Analyst roles within Agile development.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into detailed requirements and stories.
• Experience with SaaS/ERP or market-facing products is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to define and align product vision and goals.
• Translate objectives into actionable initiatives and maintain a clear roadmap.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements with stakeholders.
• Document business processes, user stories, and acceptance criteria clearly.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value.
• Refine backlog items for sprint planning with development teams.
• Serve as primary liaison between business and technical teams.
• Plan sprints with the Scrum Master and deliverables.
• Track progress with Jira and maintain transparency of status.
• Gather user feedback to inform product decisions and KPIs.
• Ensure excellent UX in collaboration with design and engineering teams.
