Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Product Owner/BA roles within Agile development.
• Strong Agile/Scrum understanding with backlog management.
• Translate business needs into detailed product requirements and user stories.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across teams.
• Experience with SaaS, ERP, or market-facing COTS products is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.
• Hands-on experience writing acceptance criteria and functional docs.
• Experience collaborating with developers and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Knowledge of QA testing and validating business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to align on product vision and goals.
• Translate objectives into initiatives and maintain a clear roadmap.
• Define and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements.
• Document processes, user stories, and acceptance criteria clearly.
• Own and refine the product backlog with business value focus.
• Coordinate sprint planning and backlog refinement with the team.
• Serve as the main liaison between business and technical teams.
• Balance priorities across departments while aligning with goals.
• Plan sprints with the Scrum Master and development team.
• Participate in sprint reviews and retrospectives to improve delivery.
• Use Jira to track epics, stories, bugs, and progress.
• Ensure transparency in sprint status and deliverables.
• Represent customer voice and inform product decisions with feedback.
• Advocate for excellent UX in collaboration with design/engineering.
• Use analytics to validate decisions and KPIs.
• Identify optimization opportunities and iterate on outcomes.
• Coordinate with development and QA to plan/deliver releases.
• Communicate release timelines and key changes to stakeholders.
• Identify risks and mitigate issues proactively.
• Escalate critical issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Contribute to process improvements for efficiency.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
