Job summary

United Data Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Product Owner to maximize product value by managing the backlog, aligning with stakeholders, and driving sprint execution.

You will translate business needs into actionable requirements and collaborate with design and engineering to deliver high-quality features. You’ll refine backlog items, write user stories, acceptance criteria, and participate in planning, demos, and training.

Qualifications

• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
• Hands-on experience performing manual QA testing and validating business requirements.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and product delivery lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Document business processes, user stories, and acceptance criteria with clarity and precision.
• Regularly refine backlog items to provide clarity for the development team during sprint planning.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the business and technical teams.
• Plan sprints, define goals, and ensure clear task allocation with the team.
• Represent the voice of the customer by gathering user feedback and ensuring it informs product decisions.
• Advocate for an excellent user experience in collaboration with design and engineering teams.
• Coordinate with development and QA teams to plan, test, and deliver product releases.
• Use analytics and performance data to validate product decisions and measure success against KPIs.
