Job summary

Planera is seeking a product marketing leader to sit within the product management team. You will shape positioning, messaging, and collateral for launches, partnering with PMs and engineers from conception to release.

You will drive adoption across the full user journey, craft competitive narratives, and enable sales with battle cards, demos, and training. This role requires construction-tech fluency and strong cross-functional influence.

Qualifications

• You come from construction technology or adjacent software and speak the industry's language credibly.
• You work inside a product team, partnering with PMs and engineers to influence development.
• You collaborate with marketing on website, white papers, campaigns, and customer stories.
• You are an operator who sets campaigns up, runs them, and measures results.
• You have launched products or features and can show adoption or engagement.
• You have done competitive analysis that changed selling or building decisions.
• You write clearly and persuasively, translating complex tech into business value.
• You market AI-forward products with substance over hype.
• You are analytical: you set goals, track results, and iterate.

Responsibilities

• Own launches end to end: audience, positioning, messaging, in-app announcements, release notes.
• Drive adoption across the user journey with lifecycle messaging and campaigns.
• Shape positioning and messaging for new capabilities during design.
• Build enablement assets: battle cards, one-pagers, demos, and training.
• Develop competitive intelligence and turn insights into clear POVs and battle cards.
• Partner with leadership on pricing and packaging as we scale.
• Collaborate with the founder and marketing team on top-level messaging and site content.
