Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Product Manager to lead the full product lifecycle, from discovery through release and continuous improvement. You will partner with business, technical, design, and program stakeholders to translate needs into actionable requirements, user stories, and roadmaps.

This role is a remote, home-based position within the United States, requiring strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills to align teams and drive measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 7 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Volunteer management experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure successful execution of broader product strategy and vision.
• Plan prioritized work across multiple teams, minimizing dependencies and risks.
• Recruit and supervise contractor and volunteer associate product managers and business analysts, to ensure they are meeting goals.
• Provide coaching and training to other product management staff, ensuring work meets team standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of product team standards and capabilities, including identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Manage the product roadmap and product plans to deliver valuable outcomes.
• Advise leadership on opportunities, challenges, and risks.
• Translate business strategy into system design and functionality across teams.
• Facilitate discovery and collection of business requirements from stakeholders.
• Use trusted data to make evidence-based decisions and enable improvement.
• Collaborate on product design with service designers and technical teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across programs, finance, legal, security, and user support.
