Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Product Manager for Volunteer Connection, a web- and mobile-based volunteer management system. The role leads the full lifecycle from discovery to release, partnering with business, technical, design, and program stakeholders to translate needs into actionable product artifacts.

The position is fully remote within the United States, with responsibilities spanning recruitment, onboarding, and continuous improvement of the product and processes to support mission

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 7 years related experience or equivalent.
• Volunteer management experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure successful execution of broader product strategy and vision
• Plan prioritized work across multiple teams, minimizing dependencies and risks
• Recruit and supervise contractor and volunteer associate product managers and business analysts, to ensure they are meeting goals and have resources available to overcome obstacles
• Provide coaching and training to other product management staff, ensuring work meets team standards
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of product team standards and capabilities, including identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities, and coaching others on adoption and growth
• Manage the product roadmap and product plans in accordance with business needs and priorities and to deliver valuable and measurable outcomes
