Job summary

Bitfocus is seeking a results-driven Product Manager to shape and document the next wave of features for Clarity Human Services. You’ll translate community needs into clear requirements, collaborate with Engineering on feasible designs, and help guide the product from idea to release with a defined career path as you grow.

You’ll write structured specifications, craft user workflows, and test concepts with customers.

Qualifications

• Product management, business analysis, or related role with at least 3 years.
• Experience documenting software requirements and technical documentation.
• Sound judgment in prioritizing and communicating trade-offs.
• User-centered design instincts with ability to draft flows and prototypes.
• Clear communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management.
• Integrity, discretion, and handling sensitive information.
• Technical curiosity and openness to AI tools in product work.

Responsibilities

• Shape the product: define, prioritize, and drive enhancements based on user needs and market trends.
• Write requirements: produce clear, structured requirements and specifications with flowcharts/diagrams.
• Design with users in mind: create/refine workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and test them.
• Listen to customers: participate in onboarding, usability testing, interviews, and feedback loops.
• Partner across teams: align with Engineering, customer-facing teams, and stakeholders on priorities.
• Keep the backlog ready: document/design ahead of engineering capacity for meaningful work.
• Spot risks early: identify gaps/dependencies and decide on actions with data and input.
• Work with modern tools: use Jira, Confluence, Figma, Claude, Gemini to track and design.
