Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Product Manager to lead strategy, delivery, and oversight of a custom product in the OCC portfolio. The role ensures alignment of goals, stakeholder needs, and technical execution to support mission-critical outcomes for the program.

This is a fully remote position within the United States. The ideal candidate has experience managing enterprise software projects, defining product vision and roadmaps, and leading cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–5 years of product management experience or commensurate experience.
• Proven track record overseeing custom software development projects.
• Ability to define product vision, roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and leading cross-functional teams.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products.
• Manages a multidisciplinary project team and budgets.
• Reviews status, manages schedules, and prepares status reports.
• Assesses issues and develops resolutions for productivity and quality.
• Monitors progress and facilitates problem solving with team members.
• Reports to a Program Manager.
• Directs project through design, implementation, and testing to meet objectives.
• Defines requirements and plans lifecycle deployment.
• Supervises professional staff and coordinates tasks to achieve results.
• Manages vendor tasks and reviews deliverables for quality.
