Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Product Manager to lead strategy, delivery, and ongoing oversight of a custom-developed product in the OCC portfolio. The role focuses on aligning product goals with stakeholder needs and technical execution to support mission-critical outcomes.

This is a fully remote position within the United States, reporting to a Program Manager and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to drive successful product delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 2–5 years of experience or commensurate.
Proven PM for custom software development projects.
Defining product vision, roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
Experience in Agile/Scrum; lead cross-functional teams.
Translate stakeholder needs into clear technical requirements.
Understanding of product lifecycle for enterprise/mission-critical systems.
Strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Create integrated project plans for contracts and new products.
Lead a multidisciplinary project team and manage status, budgets, and schedules.
Monitor progress, report status, and resolve issues to meet goals.
Define requirements and plan lifecycle deployment.
Oversee vendor tasks and evaluate delivery against requirements.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and review deliverables.
Conduct project meetings and provide tracking, analysis and reporting.
