GovCIO is seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing oversight of a custom-developed product within the OCC portfolio. The role focuses on aligning product goals with stakeholder needs and technical execution to support mission-critical outcomes.

This is a fully remote role within the United States, requiring the ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree? (not specified)
• 2-5 years of experience in product management or commensurate experience.
• Proven experience overseeing custom software development projects.
• Ability to define product vision, roadmap and measurable outcomes.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and leading cross-functional teams.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear technical requirements.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management for enterprise or mission-critical systems.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing vendor or contractor teams and evaluating delivery.
• Data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Create integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products.
• Lead a multidisciplinary project team.
• Monitor budgets, schedules and status reports.
• Identify issues and drive resolutions to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Monitor progress and enable problem solving with team members and line managers.
• Report to a Program Manager.
• Oversee design, implementation and testing to meet objectives.
• Define requirements and plan lifecycle deployment.
• Supervise professional and technical staff.
• Coordinate tasks and collaborate across team members.
• Manage vendor tasks and review deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and review outcomes.
• Conduct project meetings and track progress.
