• Knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, design verification and validation, and engineering change management.
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD, ERP systems, and engineering documentation.
• Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and Design for Manufacturability.
• Excellent leadership, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Preferred: PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Engineering & New Product Development Manager to lead engineering, product development, and project execution within a growing manufacturing organization. This leadership role oversees the full product development lifecycle, from approved concept through design, validation, and commercialization, while building a high-performing team focused on quality, cost, and speed-to-market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead new product development from concept through launch, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and cost targets.
• Oversee engineering design, prototyping, testing, validation, and production release.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering and project management teams, establishing clear priorities, performance goals, and accountability.
• Partner with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure manufacturability and successful product launches.
• Standardize engineering processes, documentation, design reviews, and change management practices.
• Drive continuous improvement, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Lean initiatives, and engineering efficiency.

Preferred: Experience in complex or engineered-product manufacturing, engineering process improvement, and PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
