Job summary

MMI Engineered Solutions in Saline, MI is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to lead new product development, APQP, and customer launches. You will coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, suppliers, and customers to drive projects on time and to spec.

This 100% onsite role requires strong program management, excellent communication, and experience with ERP, Sunset or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting new product development or manufacturing programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP, quoting, Sunset or similar tooling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track tooling, fixtures, gauges, and manufacturing engineering outsourcing.
• Create, submit, and track engineering purchase orders and project orders.
• Develop and maintain engineering procedures, APQP processes, and supporting docs.
• Manage order entry for new projects, samples, and shop orders.
• Develop, track, and communicate Engineering department metrics.
• Support quoting activities by reviewing packages, obtaining supplier quotes, and building quote lines.
• Manage sample submission activities with Application Engineers and customers.
• Manage engineering tool inventory, location tracking, and disposition.
• Support cost-reduction projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance onEngineering program activities and requirements.
