Job summary

HUD is seeking a Product Engineer to translate cross-cutting product problems into shipped experiences across our platform and marketplace in San Francisco or Singapore, with flexibility for remote work.

You will collaborate with product, design, engineering, research, and GTM teams to understand where environment creators and research teams get stuck, decide what to improve, and build the solution.

Qualifications

• Shipping software end-to-end from user problem to implementation and iteration.
• Strong product judgment: define scope and tradeoffs with incomplete information.
• Clear UX in complex, technical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Talk with users and internal teams to identify friction in creating, testing, evaluating RL environments; translate into priorities.
• Design, prototype and ship product improvements across HUD’s platform and marketplace, from problem definition to launch and iteration.
• Make agent runs, evaluation results, reward signals, and quality feedback easier to understand and act on through thoughtful interfaces and workflows.
• Build the frontend and backend pieces needed to improve vendor onboarding, environment submission, review, and discovery for research teams.
• Use feedback and signals to assess what works, and help cross-functional teams make tradeoffs.
